I’m not great for dinner places, but I can recommend a few lunch spots if that’s any good. On Dumbarton road you’ve got Timeout, which is an Egyptian cafe which does some damn good falafel. Further along the road you have Meadow Road Coffee, who do really incredible vegan sandwiches - try the fried chicken wrap!

Also, in terms of fake meat for home, you can always try out different brands. Richmond vegan sausages are *suspiciously* realistic in my mind. Sainsburys own brand ‘shroomdogs’ are lovely. Simon Howie vegan square sausage is amazing as well. Vivera’s stuff tends to be quite good - they do fake kebab meat and bacon. Also ‘This Isn’t’ are very good, I really love their chicken.
There’s a particular type of veggie bacon I got from Morrisons once. Can’t remember the name to save my life, but it was a see through packet and the strips had a brown bit on them. Avoid at all costs, bloody horrific.
