I flew out of there about five/six years ago to Barcelona.
I loved it.
I don't see the primary function of airports to provide anything other than a place to fly out from, so the number of shops, restaurants and bars is a complete irrelevance to me.
Arrived, through security in literally seconds and onto the plane.
From memory, there was one bar open, as was WH Smith's.
