Is it not actually against the law for them to say “no going that way”? Like they can warn you if theres going to be a boundary charge, but they can’t flat out refuse you right? And to get out of paying the boundary I usually get off just before the charge hits as I live just beyond it, and get out and walk a wee bit so I don’t need to pay it.
