I wonder if you’ve unknowingly parked in a space that someone nearby considers “theirs”. People get so territorial about spaces outside their house even if it’s not an assigned bay!
Some people are also just arseholes and would do it for a laugh, oblivious to the cost of repairing these things. It’s why I try not to care too much about my car anymore :(
