you might be thinking of Hogganfield loch, part of the Seven Lochs wetland park. at least [150 bird species](https://friendsofglasgowlnrs.wordpress.com/local-nature-reserves/hogganfield-park-lnr/) have been recorded there, including great crested grebes!
