| Comment | Never keyed a car myself but I have a couple of guesses. Colour of the car can be an unlucky coincidence - especially if there are strong associations to politics/football. Brand of car as well, but more importantly brand + age of the car combo; as some said it may be jealousy (I think there's a bit more to it especially now with the financial crisis and a lot of people experiencing a lot of societal frustration and financial inequality - while I'm not so petty, I understand why many may feel angry at the brand new golden porsche or something). Also type of the car, eg. SUVs - there were a lot of SUVs getting their tires slashed around COP26 because people were pissed about how many private SUVs are in use in cities where they are not necessary.
Hard to say why exactly someone would do that - it sounds like you did not "give a reason" by parking or driving in a particular way... there are always random assholes with no good reason. |
