That fact you don't see yourself as privileged does not mean you aren't. Everyone has barriers in their way, and everyone has their own challenges, the point is, as white people living in a predominantly white country, our skin colour is not an obstacle to overcome. For every person of colour it is an extra roadblock in their life they need to overcome, and that is wrong. Just saying "I don't see them any differently" doesn't help equality. We're not colour blind, they should be seen differently, they have a heritage that is vibrant and wonderful in its own way and that should be celebrated.
