| Comment | Yeah quite a lot of them are there. You'll notice in pot holes that the cobbled roads are still there. I'd rather have cobbled roads as it'd stop folk driving so fast however I think one of the reasons they were covered was that car stopping distance is pretty poor on cobbles.
Problem with reinstating them would be the overhead cables, would need to be high enough not to catch double deckers etc. Unless they brought in double decker trams like in the past. |
