| Comment | There's a new licensing scheme being discussed that will likely come into force over the next couple of years. This said, I have also heard that AirBNBs in shared closes are no longer permissible, but only acted upon when reported.
I've found this online:
"Current planning policy in Glasgow indicates that flats used for short stay accommodation must have planning permission and licensing applications must be accompanied by proof that planning consent is in place. Planning permission is not required for home sharing, secondary letting for a house and home letting for a house."
Maybe talk to planning? They've been pretty responsive to me on their online form (reply within a day). If they can't help, they'll surely signpost you to the right department.
Even though that council has a bad rep, I've actually only had good interactions with them.
