| Comment | First, I think this is a pretty random post to put on this subreddit.
But anyway, the sport will only grow bigger if it gets more coverage. Its certainly growing - albeit I don't think it will ever be close to the men's game in terms of popularity or performances.
Also, the UK is football daft (particularly Scotland and England). An international tournament win at the highest possible level for a team, regardless of gender, will always be major news here.
Finally, believe me, if it was the England men's team, the coverage would be much, much bigger |
