I'm not saying it is. But being a pedestrian and/or cyclist has become a hell of a lot more dangerous recently, as can be seen from the attitude of a lot on this thread, and just going on the streets. There's a new arrogance about, albeit from a minority of drivers who don't give a shit anymore. Belting through pedestrian crossings is normal now. It's dangerous and frankly selfish.
