We went to one in Perthshire earlier in the summer. Definitely not the Highland games I remember as a kid. With H&S all the strong man stuff was so far away. Local people were doing running competitions and really felt like a day out for people with dogs. Few drinks in the sun then we left.
Think if u live in the area it's maybe a different experience.
