| Comment | I'm sure that some money was made from it, but it would be good to know where in the Scottish/Glasgow economy that went. Money into private hands is not equivalent to money into public coffers, and it's this balance which needs to be considered, in my opinion. So far I've found plenty of articles on the economic benefits of this, but they're all lacking in detail and written in weasel words. I'm very happy to be wrong, so if you have a source saying that it's all been a good idea then I'd like to read it! |
