I almost always drive to GLA which takes me 15-20 mins. Fly to Heathrow then take the Piccadilly line for a couple of quid. This almost always beats the train for me convenience wise.
You can use the HEX but it’s expensive. Elizabeth Line is running to Heathrow now and costs about £11 to get central.
I would write off driving. Fuel will be about £120 alone (if you can average 60mpg) over the return trip. Then you need to park somewhere at potentially £55 a night.
I would only take the car under a few circumstances, or if I was expensing the journey and the public transport options had no convenient times. |
