Try to find if this car belongs to some of your neighbours. Sometimes there might be situations in life that cause that you can't drive but your car is not abandoned..

I had been in such situation a few years back - I had been assaulted and had a serious head injury, I was unable to drive for months and my partner does not drive. My car was sitting outside my house on the street for almost 7 months, I only moved it by 50 cm or so up and down the road every several weeks when I felt good enough to do so, to avoid the tires getting square.

After some months the pressure in the tire was low, the car was covered by dust from the nearby construction site, there was a grass growing underneath it, spiders building a whole internet on both mirrors and moss growing on some window seals. It probably looked like an abandoned one, but it had a valid MOT, insurance and road tax all this time. It had also developed a small path of mould in the rear passenger footwell, luckily we spotted it in time and my girlfriend gave it a bit clean on one of the sunny days.

When i got better, I gave it a wash, serviced it (had to replace brake disc, as they got completely rotten when the car was stationary) and I am driving it till this day without any issues.
