| Comment | I'm scunnered with the way most of these riders behave. exactly like you said, wrong way down streets, on pavements, not paying attention. really surprised there aren't more accidents.
I'm a big believer in road bikes (pedal or electric) having some form of basic identification mark on them for things like this. If the city can spend millions developing the cycle network and promoting the use of bikes (which I'm all for on the surface of it) then they can start being legally held to ride to the standards set out in the Highway Code. no use in cyclist complaining that cars are the pricks, when there is probably a similar percentage of cyclists not riding the way they should either. |
