A lot of people are using the example of the water bills in Ireland for this. But people also fail to see that the Irish never paid for water before and just refused to start, so it didn't affect their credit as they never entered into an agreement with them in the first place. It was also managed by one water provider, rather than several different energy providers so it was easier to come together and refuse to pay. I hate to say it but the no pay movement is going to hurt more than help.
