I’m in IT as a contractor and earn 13k a month pre tax. I use a ltd company though so avoid paying full tax using dividends and expenses etc. house is worth 400k+ and have another flat renting out as well as hefty pension pot.
I was brought up in schemes and had nothing till I got my degree and career, im very intelligent though so that helps
