Yeah, I got a flat in the city centre 3 years ago thinking it'd be so convenient walking to work and having every possible cuisine on earth within uber eats distance. Not to mention all the shops close by if I ever need anything.

6 months in, lockdown started and I've been working from home ever since. Argos shut down. M&S shut down. I realised I don't enjoy eating food that costs £2 a bite and prefer cooking at home.

My neighbours are either screaming kids that never get told "no", or screaming drunks that never learned to say "no".

I'm now waiting for my mortgage fixed term to finish so I can get the fuck out of here and never look back.
