Nuffield on Minerva Way, Finnieston is usually pretty quiet if you go early (before 9) weekdays. It's busy in the evenings from my experience.
Also, not that anyone would be caring what you're upto but the gym is enormous (upstairs, downstairs and high ceilings) so you're unlikely to be caught in someones peripheral lol.
