I would say 8-8. it is quite stressful when you hear noises from upstairs when trying to relax from work.
I think a few days of hammer work is fine, but young kids are the real problem, no offense. When I was living in Hong Kong my upstair has a energized kid that yells from 4am to 11pm for years.. it was a painful life.
