Massive staff shortage at First Bus that they can’t control and doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
When a large chunk of services are missing, the ones that are running pick up the flak and end up running late. This results in buses being taken out of service to ensure the drivers comply with drivers hours regulations. Probably what you are seeing. A west bound service gets to the terminus, is mega late then the eastbound journey is cancelled.
Add to that events/parades/marches in the city centre causing major delays pretty much every Saturday through the summer. |
