| Comment | I arrived to Glasgow in 2021, ten years ago. I remember back then the city had a vibe like "rough past but up and coming". I thought you could clearly see how the city was getting better. Perhaps especially with the Commonwealth games.
Since covid it noisedived hard. I need to go to the City Centre because I work there, and it is rough, dirty, smelly, filled with neds. Last spring I had to take some late trains and Glasgow Central was not good. it was odd the day some jakey wouldnt ask me for money or directly tried to face me. And then we have the airport which is also clearly going down. |
