I’ve seen the opposite tbh.

Covid hit the city centre hard but as for elsewhere I’ve seen widespread regeneration - new housing schemes and retail parks especially in the East End.

South side has new cafes, independent places and restaurants.

The UofG area is taking shape and Byres Road is still heaving.

There’s two things declining - high street retail stores due to stupid rents and pubs/bars. Both good things imo - the landlords need to sell up or have their property seized because of non-occupancy, and drinking culture reducing due to people in gen x and z moving away from that as a pastime.
