I'm sorry but Union Street has always been a shitehole, 10 years ago it was a shitehole, it may be worse now but there's never been any reason to spend time in Union Street other than the odd trip to G Force. Simple thing is just avoid it, then you don't need to witness all the horrors.
Closer to home, my part of Glasgow has never looked better. Flats knocked down with lovely houses put up in their place. Gangs of neds and scheme fighting pretty much no longer existent up my way, a lot safe than when I was growing up here. Areas that had a bad name actually pretty decent places to live now up my way.
But aye, Union Street. |
