Given your background I would recommend checking out work in the Further Education and Higher Education sectors.
Check out jobs.ac.uk as well as the individual pages for UoG, Strathclyde, Caledonian and UWS. IMO, having worked for plenty of universities across the UK, I vastly prefer them to working in the private sector.
