I'm educated to a Masters level and will use actually and actual interchangeably in conversation because:

- I'm not an old man
- People don't expect me to speak to them like I'm writing a thesis
- Language adapts overtime
- Like everyone, I'm influenced by the speech around me (see: regional slang across the world)
- the sentence is every bit as comprehensible

Many words in the "educated" persons vocabulary that you ascribe to are shortened words, or words that have changed meaning overtime. You're just being the usual person stuck in the past, moaning about young people changing things rather than moaning about things that **actual** matter
