Don’t be put off by the comments here, yes you’re unlikely to be top off the list for a flat in a premium area but you’ll find a flat.

The thing with Glasgow is that despite people moaning about it the railway system is fairly good so it would make sense to start looking at the peripheral towns such as Paisley, Coatbridge, Rutherglen etc..

All of the ones I’ve mentioned have trains which can get you bang in the city centre in 15-20 mins and also have landlords who are more than willing to rent to people in your situation.
