Because of the utter failure to build adequate housing stock the market won’t crash the way people think.

2007/2008 was a freak occurrence caused by irresponsible lending which resulted in a huge number of repossessions hitting the market at the same time.

That won’t happen this time due to the lending policies of the last 15 years, the fact that employment will remain high and the fact that the recession won’t be as intense.

There may be a slight drop, and it won’t be uniform as some areas will drop more than others but there won’t be a flood of properties coming onto the market.
