>The issuing of drugs from a vending machine is convenient especially if you can do it 24/7.

Who is going to maintain these vending machines?

Who is going to make sure people don't have failure rates and not get their medication?

Is it just going to be very safe medication to prevent overdose? If it is, then an entire vending machine for stuff you can get in the pharmacy is just wasteful.

Who is going to stock these vending machines?

Who is going to design these vending machines?

Who is going to manufacture these vending machines?

Who is going to put it through parliament/the relevant political authorities to get it approved as it will need licensing due to it being medication?

Who is going to pay for this increase in expense to the NHS as we won't be raising tax to do it?

Why would customers use vending machines when pharmacies are usually within walking distance to the vast majority of people? It will likely have to be done at a markup to recoup cost.

What happens if someone is accidentally given double dose as two boxes fell?

How do we prevent junkies or whatever destroying them to loot the drugs to sell to their mates?

>Many improvement that the travelling public want are immediately shot down by the unions as the staff are about as flexible as an iron bar.

Because the improvements require higher funding with no budget increases. This means lower pay and cut corners. This is LITERALLY WHAT THE RMT IS STRIKING ABOUT.
