| Comment | 1) On the 4 bus to uni one day, I had a man sit beside me and gradually stroke my thigh higher and higher. I froze and was terrified he would get off the bus with me. Didn't have a phone then and didn't know what to do. This was the middle of the day.
2) Walking down Hope Street, a man tapped my shoulder from behind to make me stop walking and tell me how great my bum looked in these jeans. I widened my eyes, turned to carry on walking AND HE DID IT AGAIN! This was the middle of the day.
3) In a club, a man came right up behind my friend and leaned in to lick her neck, which he would have done if I hadn't pushed him away.
4) Had arse grabbed in clubs by men 3 or 4 times.
But this was over 8 years living here so this certainly isn't the worst city for it. |
