| Comment | There are no minimum rental periods on any rental contracts in Scotland, you could find a 1bed flat on any site with property rentals in Glasgow and throw down a deposit if you're quick enough, stay for 3 months and then hand in 1 months notice for your fourth and final month. However, I would not recommend you inform the rental agency that that is your plan, otherwise they will most likely not rent to you.. It would also likely be expensive because 1 bed flats are 1) not in massive supply, 2) renting here has gone crazy lately and 3) every student and their granny are trying to rent flats right now in preparation for uni starting back next month, but it is an option.
The other alternative is to find a room in a flatshare either on Gumtree or Spareroom, or find somewhere you can block book for four months on AirBnB - this last suggestion is liable to be eye wateringly expensive though.
