| Comment | I get where you're coming from, but at the same time I know a bunch of university staff and they're very regularly frustrated about the university expecting them to take on a bunch of extra students (e.g the university has an associated "international college" - think a foundation-year style thing for international students. And in general students from there who transfer into the uni aren't well prepared, so they take up a lot of staff time/resources, and fundamentally that's bad for students from that college, staff, and other students too).
