During the day residents drive to work, leaving spaces so what's the issue with others using said spaces? And do those residents necessarily respect the ability of others to enjoy where they live...? It's just such a non issue. Park where you want as long as youre not on a pavement/causing an obstruction. People buy cars to drive, not for them to sit outside their house.
Public transport is currently expensive and unreliable - for example I can drive to work in 10 mins but on a bus it would take in excess of an hour. I'm not getting up an hour earlier to leave parking for someone else. Not because i want to screw them over but because we'd never do anything ever with that attitude. If i take the bus someone else might need to stand etc... |
