| Comment | We went for a walk around Barcraigs reservoir today. Its just south of Johnston/Howwood. I'd cycled past it a few times, and been curious. It was almost completely deserted. There was a cranky fisherman who was a bit grumpy about us parking in the otherwise empty angling club carpark, but there are a few spots on the road. Beyond that there were just a couple of other families swimming and a few canoers. It was a pretty idlic day... The Boarding House in Howwood is a decent family pub too if you looking for a little nearby infrustructure. |
