Never worked in a chippy but any retail place if I handed in a two week notice today and worked today then tomorrow decided " Nah fuck it" and never went back they'd just need to pay me for yesterday and any other shifts that hadn't been paid yet. Similar if I quit during the shift then just the hours I'd worked.
Edit: Although I believe they can hold on to your wages until you return company property like uniform or stuff. |
