Comment	The city isn't as jovial and friendly as it's made out to be. A lot of people are selfish cunts nowadays that only twitch a blind to do a bit of a nosy, not to actually look out for a neighbour. Gentrification is rife. Southside and Finnieston are a perfect example of this. There'll be no more characters in a few years as a lot of the reasons why we had characters is because people generally had deprived lives with a varied and interesting upbringing. 9/10 of the people that come on here and type shite like "HAHA WIT A FUCKIN BUZZ MAN" are from Bearsden/Milngavie or some other place where their maw and da are still married and earned about 200 grand a year each and have that accent that's not really Glaswegian at all, just a weird amalgamation of a few Scottish accents. The type of people you see in Shawlands with big yellow flasher coats, shallow beanie hats, black trousers with their budgie that died about 10 year ago and white socks. You're no a character, you're just every other prick that buys the same clobber from some insta wank and I can spot about 9 of you going from The Shed to Brooklyn Cafe. We're viewed on as a city of tolerance. We're anything but. We're only tolerant to people who agree with our own views, which is the easiest thing in the world to do. I do however, believe we're a fairly inclusive city for people of colour and lgbt folk. The city centre can be car free and pedestrianised. Just don't be shocked when it goes shop free when people stop shopping at places like Lush in Buchanan Street that have a rent of £1m a year. People don't want to pay a tenner to park up half a mile away from their desired shop. People also don't want to hoof bags on a bus that's about 20 minutes late and takes an hour to get you home, when a car ride can do it in 10 minutes. And for anyone asking. [Yes.
