Glasgow is a WORLD CLASS city of architecture.

Glasgow has some outstanding buildings, old and modern. Not just MacIntosh, but also Alexander Thompson, Gilbert Scott, Jack Coia, Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, and some exquisite domestic and tenemental architecture.

Glasgow's architectural heritage is underrated due to the economic deprivation associated with the city on account of de-industrialisation and depopulation. Glasgow has unfairly earned the reputation of being the rough city, and Edinburgh the elegant city. This falsehood is perpetuated by many Glaswegians who are inverted snobs and who are reluctant to take pride in beauty of their own city.

Glasgow is self-loathing and needs to have more confidence in herself. The place has been left to decay and too many in Glasgow are indifferent about this. There are far too many abandoned, derelict, and disheveled buildings and plots. Tragically, a lot of these are left to ruin, and then mysteriously catch on fire.
