I was a teenage mum and my kid is now 24. Sure I missed out on some girls nights out and holidays, but I gained some amazing memories and holidays with my son which are far more important to me. My son is my greatest achievement and I’m so proud of him, and myself!

I’m still young enough that I retrained recently and now have a job that I love, so your parents probably are still young enough to experience things they may have put to the side while they were raising you too! I love my son more than anything and wouldn’t trade him for a different life. I am sure your parents feel the same way and would be horrified if they thought you didn’t know that.

Speak to them, or speak to a friend, colleague, a helpline - you can even message me!
