Gurdwaras give free meals. Never used tho. Try Tesco or Morrisons discounted items. They reduce price to pennies at certain hours. For example I got 2.5kg turkey legs for 1 quid few days ago, you can stretch that very far. You can also go to butchers and ask for chicken/beef bones, halal butchers in shawlands continental give me some whenever I pop in and ask. You can make soup with them and pick meat off the bones. Freegle app, people give out free pantry items sometimes. Some wholesale places like United wholesale let people shop in there without business account. Olio app, i think people give stuff they don't need for free. Gumtree, rarely people give out pantry items. For some free fruit take advantage of the season and grab some blackberries in the parks. All the bestate, you'll make it easy.
