Ah it’s rough. Most folk in my tax bracket are caught in the loop of earning too much to get any assistance but not being able to afford any childcare which limits your options workwise and basically makes you reliant on having an employer that won’t verbally decapitate you if your child is sick etc.
Basically stuck on a hamster wheel with very little time to see anyone so your social links start to falter. You feel guilty as you can’t take your kids to extra curriculars because you can’t be in two places at once. |
