I'm a single mum of two and the same, live month to month. This month was honestly brutal with the schools going back. I was in the army and get a small pension each month like its not much at all but because I do get it I'm not entitled to the clothing grant or alot of the payments other single mums get. I'd rather I didn't get my army pension as I'd be much better off in situations when it comes to this month and the schools going back. It honestly felt like the stress of Christmas only 4 months early. I feel for anyone who is struggling working or not/kids or not as i know most people are really feeling it now. If I could help anyone with even just a meal or £10 on the gas or electric I will though as I've been worse off so still count myself fortunate that my bills and stuff are paid even if I'm on my arse the last week or so before my next pay. Xx
