I agree would much prefer Nuclear over any sort of drilling - but if it came down to people freezing or starving I would even support fracking. Storing excess energy is a very valid issue and one that should be addressed.
The amount of mismanagement and all the complexities that have been added to the simplest tasks due to all the ridiculous laws that have been created in the past 30 years has increased costs for everything. Personally I blame the lawyers for this as more complexity means more billing opportunity. Like consultants they have figured out there is far more money to be made being part of the problem vs. part of the solution. |
