| Comment | First of all welcome my fellow American, you're going to love it here. My understanding is that it's illegal, but I've never seen it enforced. I've smelled it walking down the streets, even seen folks lighting up near police. That said, as a visa holder, you probably want to be more cautious than you might otherwise at home. At the end of the day you're a guest here and subject to more restrictions than others. It's never stopped me lighting up at home, but when friends have done so in public, I usually sit it out out of an abundance of caution. |
