I used to live opposite a parking lot where the Chinese expat community would practice with their dragon and drums for New Year parades. They always practised between 1-4pm on a Saturday. If we ban all marches relating to community and belief we lose out on Chinese New Year and Pride and all kinds of things that enrich our culture. The problem is not that a group wants to celebrate something important to them whether we agree with it or not. The issue is if I've got a hangover and it's 8am. |
