Comment | Couple of possibilities:
* A 267 had just left the bus station, and Google Maps thought you had a chance of intercepting it at Garth Street if you walked there directly on foot. The bus takes a winding route through the centre between the bus station and Glassford Street / Garth Street, so this seems a reasonable possibility.
* It's possible Google Maps simply isn't up to date with First Bus timetables. I've noticed this is the case with some buses I use regularly, and so I tend to use the First App to find when the bus is scheduled. Less user-friendly than Google Maps, but it does feel like Google Maps has been out of sync with the frequently changing timetables over the last year or two. |
