In laymans terms:

- Dont cycle on the pavement
- But you can cycle on it if there's no road (like a back lane or park)
- If it's a 'core path' you can cycle on it. [These are all the core paths in Glasgow (pdf)](https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=14559&p=0)
- Core paths include:
- Broomielaw walkway
- Buchanan St
- Sauchiehall St (Pedestrianised area)
- Footbridges
- Kelvin Walkway
- The weirdly disjointed walkway along the White Cart

Every river is a core path so you're technically not breaking the law to cycle down the Clyde.
