I don’t think I’ll ever stop. My partner and I are 32 and 31. Both paycheques in our household are very decent, maybe 120 combined. But with the way things are going, cost of living, talk of starting a family etc, we talk about money a lot. We don’t use credit cards, only debt is the mortgage but money and expenses are something always something we think about and budget.

There are some junior folk at my work just joined who are buzzing about the pay, saying it’s a decent jump from their last gigs. The money isn’t great here at their level, about 21 to 26 and I listen to them talk and I think their previous employers are tight, robbing bastards.
