To oppose industrial action is to choose sides with the likes of pinkertons, barons, lords, Tories, and all manners of the lowest of society.
Industial action is what won us minimum wage, weekends, a whole plethora of other things. They are never given. The wealthy are not kind, they are cruel and greedy, they understand only direct action. Dry your tears of your short term inconvenience and see the big picture. We don't have a damn thing through grace, only through action.
The media can try and demonise unions as much as they want. They'll always have public support. They always have. They're not mad about the results of the strikes, they're mad about the threat of class consciousness. |
