100%. We have had 12 years of Tory austerity which has basically meant real terms pay cuts for most people since the financial crash in 2008. Add to that, essentially 40 years of successive governments employing the same free market policies and principles and it's the working class that have once again suffered, whilst those with the most money, who are almost always those in positions of power, whether it be government or huge corporations get richer and richer.

Those providing front line services, such as refuse workers, teachers, nurses, social workers etc have for too long been treated with utter contempt, they've every right to say enough is enough and take whatever action is necessary to demand better pay and conditions.
